During the Lenten season KCC joins the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission in their Operation Hope and Care. Plastic bags with a list of needed items inside are set in the back of church during Lent. Church members take a bag and fill it with personal hygiene products as suggested by the list inside. The totes are then given to each family or individual who checks in for emergency shelter at the mission. We are happy to help provide the basic needs of those experiencing homelessness.
